In this talk, we consider some models such as Smagorinsky, Voigt and simplified Baldwin-Lomax, which are related to the standard Navier-Stokes equations. We give a review of modeling and main results of the Smagorinsky and Voigt models. Our recently results on what is called the Smagorinsky-Voigt model are also presented in this talk too.
